About me
I am currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Idaho State University College of Education. My primary focus is to bring high-quality STEM learning to all students. I have a background as a middle school math and science teacher and then earned my Ph.D. in Science and STEM education from the University of Idaho before coming to ISU. My career has since focused on school transformation, previously serving as an instructional coach for Expeditionary Learning, a model of High-Quality project based learning and inquiry. Currently, I guide schools as they transition into a STEM focus. I also serve as the PI of the ISU IMPACTS project (NSF NOYCE), and the director of the Idaho state University MAT program, where I support the next generation of science and mathematics eductors.
