Idaho Annual STEM Conference: The Magic of STEM 2026 has ended
Thursday July 30, 2026 10:45am - 11:45am MDT
This session explores how to design K-5 learning anchored in puzzling phenomena, rich science talk, modeling, and early-grade DCI progressions. We will look at examples of phenomena that work well in elementary classrooms, routines that help young learners build explanations from evidence, and supports that nurture curiosity and confidence. Participants will gain practical tools for implementing science aligned to Idaho's science standards that feels authentic and accessible to all students.
