About me
Wendy Snyder is an experienced educator and instructional leader with over twenty years in education. She began her career teaching 3rd grade in a Title I school, where she spent seven years building a strong foundation in student-centered instruction. During her time at Barbara Morgan STEM Academy, she played a key role in the school’s transition to a school of choice and accredited STEM program. As a member of the Leadership Team and STEM Advisory Committee, Wendy contributed to the development of the school’s mission, vision, and curriculum design, helping to implement a project-based learning model grounded in inquiry.Wendy currently serves as an Idaho Science Coach for Region 3, a role she has held for the past three years. In this capacity, she partners with districts, schools, and educators to strengthen science instruction through the intentional integration of the three dimensions of the Idaho Science Standards: Disciplinary Core Ideas, Science and Engineering Practices, and Crosscutting Concepts.She is deeply passionate about science education and is committed to supporting elementary teachers in building confidence and expertise in delivering rigorous, inquiry-based science instruction. Wendy’s work focuses on making high-quality science teaching accessible, engaging, and impactful for both teachers and students.
