About me
Jamie Richardson is a member of Boise State's College of Innovation and Design where he facilitates the Onramp Program’s Mobile Lab. The Onramp Program is an innovative approach to engaging Idaho students with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education and their community. Onramp supports local area schools by providing opportunities for engaging, meaningful projects in classrooms, libraries, and after-school programs and support teachers for the continued use of innovative teaching strategies. Jamie has been a school administrator for over 20 years. He is a huge advocate for innovative learning experiences for students through integrated project based learning and STEAM education. In 2017, he was selected as one of the National Digital Principals of the Year through NASSP for the work he and his staff were doing in developing innovative learning practices at the middle school level.
