About me
Amy Post is the Think Make Create (TMC) Labs Program Manager at the Idaho Out-of-School Network, where she has shared hands-on, inquiry-based STEM education with over 75,000 kids in Idaho and the educators who serve them. She’s a naturalist and informal educator with nearly two decades of experience at nature centers, parks and recreation departments, a botanical garden, a farm, a zoo, a ski area, non-profits, and schools. Amy earned an M.S. in Environmental Education from Southern Oregon University and B.A. in English Writing and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University. She’s also a fully-certified alpine ski instructor, and applies the student-center approach she learned from teaching people to slide down a snow-covered mountain on slippery sticks to all aspects of her work.
